The medium turbine case with axle is a replacement part that was made by Hayward. The same high-quality materials were used to manufacture the original factory part. Making this a genuine OEM product.

This turbine case was created for the medium turbine assembly and its purpose is to house these parts and hold them locked into place while also giving them the freedom to rotate and send that power up to the cone gear. This changes the direction of the cleaner either left or right for a better cleaning radius.

This part is white and comes with the axle required for the medium turbine to rotate around and transfer its power to the other parts of the cleaner above that need it to operate. The axle is not sold separately and would have to be purchased with the case. You should replace both at the same time regardless to restore the new “like” quality to this area of the cleaner.
