Hayward AquaNaut 200 400 & 450/Poolvergnuegen Gear Drive - Large

The gear drive - large - is a replacement part that is made by Hayward using the same high-quality materials that are used to manufacture the original factory parts, making this item a genuine OEM product.

This gear was made to connect to the steering bracket roller and to apply the rotating power that comes from the small gear drive and turbine to the wheels, giving the cleaner the power to maneuver along the surface of the pool. It sits on the right side of the lower body and connects to a shaft bearing, allowing the steering bracket to rotate with ease.

This part is white and very similar to the small drive gears, yet it is a tad bit larger than the other two. We recommend checking these gears periodically as the teeth will wear over time and with use of the cleaner.
