Hayward AquaNaut 400 & 450/Poolvergnuegen Rear Gear Shaft

The rear gear shaft is a replacement part that was made by Hayward using the same high-quality materials that were used to manufacture the original factory product, making this item a genuine OEM product.

This gear shaft was created for the rear wheel hubs and is the object that transfers the rotating energy from the front wheel hubs to the rear so they can aid in the cleaner's maneuverability around deep and larger-than-average sized pools.

This part is black and comes with 2 white bearings which allow it to move freely. Two of these are needed for each cleaner as there are two rear wheels. The gears will wear over an extended period of time and use of the cleaner, so we recommend checking these parts periodically as they will need to be replaced.
