The Hayward IDXLCPA1250 Control Panel Assembly is the main interface for operating and monitoring the Hayward H250IDL H-Series Low NOx Induced Draft Heater. It allows users to adjust temperature settings, initiate heating cycles, and display error codes or diagnostic messages.

• Power and System Initialization:
• When the heater is powered on, the control panel initializes and performs a self-diagnostic check.
• The display lights up, showing the current pool or spa temperature.
• Temperature Adjustment & Mode Selection:
• Users can increase or decrease the temperature setpoint using the buttons.
• The system determines whether heating is needed based on the set temperature compared to the water temperature.
• Ignition and Heating Cycle:
• When heating is required, the control panel signals the ignition system to start.
• The combustion blower activates to ensure proper airflow, followed by the gas valve opening and burner ignition.
• Real-Time Monitoring & Safety Features:
• The control panel monitors various sensors, including water temperature, pressure, and exhaust.
• If an issue arises (e.g., low water pressure or ignition failure), the panel displays an error code to diagnose the problem.
• Shutdown & Post-Purge:
• Once the set temperature is reached, the control panel signals the gas valve to close.
• The blower runs briefly to purge any remaining gases before shutting down completely.
