Hayward DV1000 AquaRay/SunRay Hammer Retainer

The hammer retainer is a replacement part that was made by Hayward. The same high-quality materials were used to manufacture the original factory part. Making this a genuine OEM product.

This part was created to hold the hammer and spring clip kit in place on the bottom side of the cleaner so that way it doesn’t fall out of the cleaner as it operates. The hammer is the only moving part in these cleaners so if it were to come loose and fall out the cleaner would be ineffective.

The part is yellow and shaped like a rectangle, with a mouth opening in its center that allows easy passage of dirt and debris through the cleaner’s center, out the hose, and finally into the filtration system.
