Hayward Salt & Swim 3C Replacement Salt Cell | W3SAS-CELL
No. This is the replacement cell component. It requires the compatible installed control and power equipment, along with the correct configuration. No. Salt chlorination converts dissolved salt into chlorine. Continue testing sanitizer, pH and the other water-balance values specified in the manual. Match the system’s rated capacity and chlorine output to pool volume, circulation time and sanitizer demand. Ratings do not guarantee adequate production under every operating condition. Inspect it as directed and clean only when required by the manufacturer. Use the exact cell’s procedure rather than applying another model’s cleaning instructions. Use the manufacturer downloads on this page for setup, operation and maintenance. Additional exact-model resources are available on Hayward’s product support page. This listing is for Hayward W3SAS-CELL. Match the complete model number before ordering; a similar model name does not establish identical fit, features or warranty.Product FAQs

Description
Description
Replace the cell your system needs
Hayward W3SAS-CELL is a replacement salt-chlorination cell for a compatible Salt & Swim 3C system. It converts dissolved pool salt into chlorine while operating with the matching control and power equipment; it is not a complete standalone chlorinator.
Why choose this model?
Replace the cell component
Use the exact cell model required by your installed system rather than replacing the entire control assembly unnecessarily.
System matching matters
Cell selection and controller configuration affect operation and salt readings. Verify both before installation.
Routine inspection
Check the cell for deposits and follow the manufacturer’s inspection and cleaning guidance as part of regular pool care.
Before you order
This is the replacement cell. The control unit shown in a system illustration is not included. Match the installed cell, control system, required settings and plumbing before ordering. Continue testing chlorine and water balance; a salt cell does not replace routine pool-water testing.
