The manufacturer kit photo shows the air-intake adapter and matching replacement side panel. Intake piping, termination, heater and other field-installation materials are separate.

For the JXi/JXiQ intake arrangement covered by the matched heater manual. The 3-inch adapter size is not a universal pipe-size selection for every intake length or heater input; the manual governs any required larger field piping.

The vent adapter R0731100, air-intake kit R0724600 and lock box JXIGUARD have different functions and are separate ordering codes.

A qualified installer must select intake-pipe diameter, equivalent length, termination, clearances and combustion-air provisions using the exact heater manual. This is an intake-air accessory, separate from the exhaust vent adapter.

Jandy’s current Limited Warranty, H0333803 Rev AB, lists purchased replacement-parts coverage as 90 days, subject to the exact category and all statement conditions. Its internet-purchase exclusion contains exceptions for parts, pool accessories and valves under 3 inches; that does not extend an unconditional warranty to every installation. Qualified licensed installation/service where required, first-purchaser/original-site, geographic limits and labor/transport exclusions apply. Do not apply a complete heater’s advertised heat-exchanger term to this separately purchased part or kit.
