Recommended pipe size is 2.5–3 inches; follow local codes and professional system sizing. SpeedSet Plus supports IntelliCenter, IntelliCenter Lite, EasyTouch PL4/PSL4 and IntelliTouch. Flow control is not supported. Available in-store only. Jandy Trade Series Exclusive equipment cannot be sold online and requires professional installation and service. Jandy ePump 3.8 HP with SpeedSet Plus
The VSSHP3802ASP variable-speed pool pump includes a preinstalled SpeedSet Plus controller and two programmable auxiliary relays. Built for pool filtration, water features, negative edges and spa jets, it combines a large wet end with quiet operation and a high-capacity strainer basket.
Features and installation
- 3.8 total horsepower; 208–230 VAC operation; 16 amps; maximum 3,120 watts.
- Includes 2.5-inch x 3-inch unions; recommended pipe size 2.5–3 inches, subject to local code.
- Zero-clearance, totally enclosed fan-cooled permanent-magnet brushless DC motor.
- Four-speed dry-contact relay control and RS485 quick-connect port.
- Tool-free lid and ergonomic carry handle.
Integrates with Jandy automation. SpeedSet Plus also supports Pentair IntelliCenter, IntelliCenter Lite, EasyTouch PL4/PSL4 and IntelliTouch; flow control is not supported. Installation and service must be performed by a qualified pool professional.
Warranty: Jandy variable-speed pumps carry a three-year limited warranty for qualifying residential purchases and installations; commercial applications are limited to one year. Internet purchases of this equipment are excluded. See the manufacturer warranty for full conditions.
