50 PSI, 3/4-inch × 3/4-inch pressure-relief valve kit for standard polymer-header JXi/JXiQ heaters.

The manufacturer kit illustration/table identifies a 50 PSI 3/4-inch × 3/4-inch valve, brass adapter/nipple components, brass 90-degree 3/4-inch NPT elbow and thread-seal tape. Which adapter components are used depends on the header type; not every piece is fitted on every header.

For the standard polymer-header JXi/JXiQ pressure-relief installation in the matched heater manual. JXiQ manual Table 5 specifies a 50 PSI valve; ASME bronze-header installations use a different 75 PSI kit. Header revisions A/B and later port arrangements require the exact manual procedure.

The standard polymer-header JXi/JXiQ kit R0336101 is rated 50 PSI. The ASME bronze-header kit R0336102 is rated 75 PSI. R0336100 is separately listed for LX/LT/LXi/Legacy polymer and certain cast-iron/bronze applications; R0040400 is the separate cast-iron/bronze-header kit. Match the complete application rather than selecting by rating alone.

Professional installation is required. Verify the exact header revision, required relief protection and safe discharge route using the full heater instructions. Do not treat the valve rating as permission to pressure-test or operate other pool equipment at that pressure.

Its internet-purchase exclusion contains exceptions for parts, pool accessories and valves under 3 inches; that does not extend an unconditional warranty to every installation. Do not apply a complete heater’s advertised heat-exchanger term to this separately purchased part or kit.
