This exact model is 24W, requires 12VAC and has a 150-foot cord. A 12V DC supply is not interchangeable.

Does this fit a standard wet niche?

No. It is a nicheless light for the 1-1/2-inch return-fitting installation described in the manual.

Are lens-cover kits included?

The current catalog lists quarter-moon and half-moon covers as optional accessories. Check the actual package; do not assume a separate cover kit is included.

Which color program and controllers apply to this S-Series light?

The full Jandy H0622800 Rev E operating manual describes nine S-Series modes: Treasure Island, Moonlight White, SAVI Blue, Sargasso Sea, Blue Lagoon, Passion Pink, Caribbean Hues, Copacabana and Dance Party. It documents switch-operated color changes and synchronization among S-Series lights. These instructions do not establish universal compatibility with other light series or every automation controller. Match the supplied light manual and exact controller before programming.

Can this color light use an AquaLink relay, wall switch or dimmer?

The current Jandy H0622800 Rev H manual shows power control through an AquaLink auxiliary relay or wall switch, with the required listed pool-lighting magnetic transformer between line power and the 12VAC light. Basic power switching is not a promise of direct color selection on every automation system. Color-changing models are not dimmable and must not use a dimmer switch or dimming relay. Installation and wiring must be completed by a qualified professional under the applicable codes.

HydroCool S-Series Nicheless LED Light, 24W, 150-Foot Cord

Jandy JLU4C24W150S is a RGBW color-changing HydroCool nicheless LED light rated 24W, with a 150-foot cord and a 12VAC supply requirement.

Configuration and compatibility

The nicheless light mounts in a standard 1-1/2-inch plastic wall/return fitting, following the clearance requirements in the manual. It is not a drop-in light for a large pool or small spa wet niche.
HydroCool uses the surrounding water to remove heat. The unibody construction and diffuser lens support even illumination in a compact fixture.
Have the installer verify the listed 12VAC magnetic transformer, cable run and load before ordering. Match the full model suffix to the installed control series.
This is the S-Series version. Do not assume it shares the color sequence or controller programming of the unsuffixed WaterColors, another suffix, or Infinite WaterColors lights.
Quarter-moon and half-moon lens-cover kits are available separately in white, gray or black. Check the actual package before assuming a lens-cover kit is supplied.
