Description

The Pentair 261177 is the correct 1.5" pre-plumbed side-mount multiport valve for Pentair FNS, FNS Plus, and NSP D.E. filter systems. It is built for the SM 10-2 layout with a 7-1/2" centerline, so the port size and filter match matter. This is not the Triton or Quad D.E. valve. When the original valve is leaking, cracked, or no longer indexing correctly, replacing it with the proper Pentair OEM valve is the right fix.

Pro Tip

If the valve body is still usable, check the top assembly, spring, and handle washer before replacing the whole valve. Those parts are common wear points on Pentair 1.5" HiFlow multiport valves.

Installation Tips

Shut the pump off and relieve all system pressure before service. Confirm the filter is a compatible FNS, FNS Plus, or NSP D.E. side-mount model, align the 7-1/2" centerline correctly, and never move the valve handle while the pump is running.
