What voltage, wattage and cord length is this exact light?

602146 is the 12V AC, 26W white pool fixture with a 150-foot cord. Its 300W incandescent-equivalent designation is not the power it consumes.

Is this a pool-size or spa-size fixture?

This is the pool fixture. It requires a matching Pentair pool niche; it is not interchangeable with the other fixture size. For a concrete installation, Pentair niche 79206700 is a relevant matching niche. Have your installer verify the complete mounting arrangement.

What is included?

One white LED pool light with its 150-foot factory cord. The niche, transformer, controller and other installation equipment are separate purchases.

Does it need a transformer?

Yes. This 12V AC model needs a suitable pool-light safety-isolation transformer, selected and installed by a qualified professional. Never connect it directly to 120V.

Does this light change colors?

No. This is the white version, not the multicolor fixture.

Can I put it on a dimmer switch?

No. Pentair states that this light must not be used on a dimmer circuit because it can permanently damage the light.

Can a damaged light cord be repaired or spliced underwater?

No. Pentair prohibits splicing underwater or behind the niche and states that the external cord cannot be replaced. Have a qualified pool-light professional evaluate and replace a damaged assembly.

Which older IntelliBrite models are cross-referenced?

Pentair’s exact model table maps 601108 to 602146. Confirm voltage, fixture size, cord routing and niche before ordering; a cross-reference does not remove installation requirements.
