Description

The Pentair 261049 is a 2" Universal HiFlow multiport valve supplied without plumbing or bulkhead fittings. It is made for compatible side-mounted sand and D.E. filter applications where the existing plumbing adapters are being reused or selected separately. With six-position positive-lock operation, a PVC body, a large handle, and 2" ports, this valve is built for routine filter control, backwashing, rinsing, waste, recirculation, and winterizing.

Pro Tip

If the valve body is still solid, inspect the top assembly, handle, spring, and diverter seal before replacing the full valve. Those are common wear points on Pentair 2" HiFlow valves.

Installation Tips
