Pentair Kreepy Krauly E-Z Vac Baffle Plate (not interchangeable with Kreepy Krauly inground) (K12649)

The baffle plate (not interchangeable with Kreepy Krauly inground) is a replacement part that was made by Pentair. The same high-quality materials were used to manufacture the original factory part. Making this a genuine OEM product.

The plate was designed to be the object that holds the flow valve/flapper in place as this is the only moving part of the E-Z Vac cleaner. Without the baffle plate, the flapper would simply fall out of the cleaner or have too much range of motion ultimately making the cleaner ineffective.

This part is white and can be located near the bottom side of the cleaner up in the largemouth opening in which the dirt and debris travel through as the cleaner is operating. A great troubleshooting tip, if you are looking to replace either the plate or the flapper, is to lift the lip of the foot pad and insert a flat-headed screwdriver alongside one of two tabs on the plate itself. Then you want to push the tab inward until the plate releases. You can then place your finger into the throat and pull it up towards yourself until it pops out giving you access to both the plate and flapper.
