Pentair Kreepy Krauly E-Z Vac Eyeball Diverter Outer Ring (K121683)

The eyeball diverter and outer ring is a replacement part that was made by Pentair. The same high-quality materials were used to manufacture the original factory part. Making this a genuine OEM product.

Aboveground pools can have a very strong return flow that can hinder the E-Z Vac (As well as other suction cleaners) from performing its task of cleaning the entire pool. At times the standard eyeball fitting may not be enough to divert this flow of water, so Pentair created this eyeball diverter outer ring which helps disperse the flow down the walls of the pool so that way it cannot disrupt the cleaner in any way.

The outer ring itself is white and is meant to work in conjunction with the eyeball diverter (which is also white) as it snaps into a groove and rests along the outside of the diverter. These parts can deteriorate over a length of time and use but are very easy to remove and replace.
