Pentair Kreepy Krauly Legend II Back-Up Valve - O-Ring Gear Assembly (E14)

The back-up valve (o-ring gear assembly) is a replacement part that was made by Pentair. The same high-quality materials used to manufacture the original factory part. Making this a genuine OEM product.

The o-ring was designed specifically for the back-up valve and its gear assembly and its purpose is to hold the gears in place while also giving it a tight seal. This way there is no leak in pressure which would affect the way the gears are meant to operate.

The o-ring is black just like most o-rings are and is also made from a rubber material that can deteriorate over the length of time and use of the cleaner. So, at some point it may need to be replaced however, this is an easy task to accomplish with the help of a flat head screwdriver.
