Pentair Kreepy Krauly Legend II Feed Hose Mender - Gray w/ O-ring #0253 (360022) 

The feed hose mender w/ o-ring (#0253) is a replacement part that was made by Pentair. The same high-quality materials were used to manufacture the original factory part. Making this a genuine OEM product.

The feed hose mender was built to be the object that connects all the parts included in the hose kit like the valve assembly to the adapter hose and swivel which then connects to the feed hose (harder). It then connects the feed hose – soft to the back-up valve as well as the feed mast which is connected to the Legend Itself. Ultimately providing the low-pressured water that comes from the filtration system to the cleaner so it can successfully operate.

This part is grey and is strategically placed throughout 12 different locations throughout the hose kit providing a tight and strong bond between this collection of parts. When installing the mender on the ends of the swivels, feed mast, or valve assembly, you want the twist adapter facing outwards towards the feed hoses that they are connecting to. This way you can twist the mender clockwise until it is tight.
