Pentair Kreepy Krauly Warrior and Rebel Long Run Cam

The long-run cam is a replacement part that was made by Pentair. The same high-quality materials were used to manufacture the original factory part. Making this a genuine OEM product.

The cam kit was designed for the purpose of being the mechanism that allows these suction cleaners to stop and rotate more than 360 degrees whether it’s to change its cleaning path to cover more of the surface or to get itself out of trouble areas like steps, corners, or drains. The part gets its power from the turbine which rotates due to the suction and water that runs up through it and out into the hose while also taking the dirt, debris, and mulch with it. The difference between this long-run cam and the original cam kit that comes with the cleaner is this one allows the cleaner to operate longer before the cam starts its job to turn the cleaner in a different direction and or get it out of trouble areas like drains or steps. Typically this will be used for pools of a larger scale.

The part itself is white and quite larger and longer than the surrounding gears that it works in correlation with, so it is very easy to identify when looking at the internals of the cleaner or trying to troubleshoot an issue. Now the teeth on this part can wear over the length of time and use so it may need to be replaced in order to restore the full cleaning power back to the Warrior and Rebel.
