Pentair Racer LS Pressure Side Cleaner Leader Hose, 2.5 Ft. (360429)

The leader hose 2.5 Ft is a replacement part made by Pentair. Making this a genuine OEM product.

This hose was designed to be a part of the leader hose sections yet it is smaller like an adapter hose being only 2.5 feet long. The reason for this is because this hose connects the rest of the hose assembly to the cleaner. The hose connects to the end of the backup valve which is the mechanism that reverses the cleaner out of trouble spots like corners, steps, or even large drain covers.

This part is gray yet softer than the hard feedline hose so that way it can bend or move easier preventing the hose from getting tangled and tampering with the cleaner’s effectiveness. Also, this hose is meant to hold one of the feedline hose floats. This also helps the hose from getting tangled or laying on the bottom surface which would disrupt the cleaner and its cleaning process.
