Pentair Racer LS Pressure Side Cleaner Leader Hose 7.5 Ft. (360430)

The leader hose 7.5 Ft is a replacement part made by Pentair. Making this a genuine OEM product.

The leader hose is the second link in a chain of hoses that provide the cleaner with pressurized water that powers the entire cleaner and the cleaning process. This water comes from the filtration system via the booster pump and out of the feedline wall connector and through an In-line filter, where it passes through the hard feedline hose and feedline swivel, then finally to this hose which is softer to help create a better movement to be pushed through the backup valve and even further into the cleaner. This makes it capable of sucking and pulling up dirt, debris, and other forms of mulch off the surface of your pool for a crystal-clear look.

The hose itself is gray and made from a soft rubber compound that can be cut to adjust to the length needed to reach across your pool. This also allows it to expand while the high-pressure water makes it's way through and into the cleaner. If this part was made from any other material the potential for failure or damage would be at severely high risk. It can be found on the bottom end of the feedline swivel making it easy to identify for replacement when necessary.
