Description

The Pentair Sand Dollar SD 80 is a performance-driven top-mount sand filter engineered for long life and efficient pool filtration. Its 26" diameter body and 3.5 sq. feet of filter area allow up to 75 gallons per minute flow — ideal for medium to large residential pools. The shell is molded from a single thermoplastic piece to resist corrosion and UV damage. Internally, the lateral design ensures even water distribution and prevents channeling, maximizing filtration effectiveness over long cycles.

A six-way multiport valve provides simple switching between filter, backwash, rinse, waste, recirculate, and closed modes.
