For best results, pair the SD80 with a correctly sized variable-speed pump that keeps your system flowing within the 75 GPM rating—oversizing your pump may decrease service life. Consider upgrading your skimmer suction or return lines at the same time to optimize circulation and filtration efficiency.

Installation Tips

Ensure compatible plumbing pressure and flow—max operating pressure 50 psi and max water temperature 95 °F. Always install on a firm level surface and allow sufficient vertical clearance (~74″) for multiport valve removal.
