Polaris 3900 Sport Float, Head Kit (R0538000)

 

The float, head Kit is a replacement part made by Polaris. It is a genuine OEM part for their 3900 Sport pressure side cleaner model. Meaning it is made from the same high-grade material and can perform the same tasks.
This floating head was designed to provide balance to the cleaner, ensuring that the cleaner can perform its tasks in cleaning up the surface of your pool. Without this floating head, the cleaner would not be able to climb the walls or steps. It would be weighed down to the surface which would ultimately reduce the range and cleaning abilities of the 3900 Sport.
This part is gray and sits atop the rear end of the cleaner. A great troubleshooting tip is if the cleaner is weighed down or operating slower or abnormally could mean that the floating head is leaking or compromised. This would cause it to fill with water making it ineffective and needing to be replaced.
