Polaris 3900 Sport Screw, 10-32 x 7/8" SS Pan Head w/ Star Washer (48-045)

The pan head screws w/ star washer are the essential “glue” for the Polaris 3900 Sport model cleaner. They provide a strong, long-lasting hold while being ultra-durable as well.

These screws were designed for the purpose of locking the axle assemblies into the frame of the cleaner allowing no movement that would potentially disrupt the cleaner’s maneuverability. The difference between these screws and the others that are used to bind and hold this cleaner is the lock washers that are required when installing them.

For the purpose of installation, you want to hand tighten these screws as opposed to using a power drill. There is the potential for cracking or damaging the plastic on any other surrounding parts it’s to be installed around.
