Great Cleaner

Upgraded from a Polaris 360. The pool floor has never been this clean. The Quattro Never gets stuck, turns on a dime and is so satisfying to watch in action.

DO NOT BUY

I had two Quattro Sports. Both of them had the same problem. The gear that drives the front wheel is made of nylon or similar material and kept breaking. I had it replaced four times in one year and then I gave up.

I understand that Polaris now has a fix for the problem, a replacement part that is supposed to last longer. I have not tried that. I’m happy enough with my Hayward Tri Vac 500 which is powered by a water jet and has no gears to break.

I will say that, when it worked, the Quattro sport was a great cleaner. It cleaned my pool better than any other cleaner and was it was so easy to clean the filter.

Great Cleaner when it works

This cleaner is awesome when it is working. The problem with it is you will need to rebuild it 2 to 3 times a year. Parts are not cheap!! ePoolSupply sells all of the parts needed for the rebuild. Good prices on the parts too. I have rebuilt this cleaner at least 8 times. It is time for a new one.
