Hayward Sensor-Flow (CAX-20202) detects the flow rate of water within a pool or spa system and sends real-time data to the CAT 1000 automated control system. The sensor’s readings ensure the water circulates properly for optimal filtration and chemical balancing. 

• Flow Detection: The sensor continuously measures the water flow. If water flow is too low or too high (which could suggest system strain), it alerts the control system.
• Integration with Controllers: The sensor is integrated with the CAT 1000 controllers, monitoring and adjusting chemical levels like pH and chlorine based on water flow. If the flow rate isn't within the ideal range, the system might stop adding chemicals to avoid over- or under-dosing.
• Preventive Alerts: If the sensor detects abnormal flow, it triggers alarms or shuts down to prevent damage, ensuring equipment protection and safe water conditions for pool users.
