Waterco MultiCyclone 16 Centrifugal Pre-Filter

The Waterco MultiCyclone 16 is a centrifugal pool pre-filter designed to remove heavier sediment before it reaches the main pool filter. Its 16 hydrocyclones use water flow to spin dirt into the clear sediment chamber, helping reduce filter cleaning, backwashing, and water waste.

Installation Note

The MultiCyclone 16 should be installed ahead of the primary pool filter. It is designed to capture sediment heavier than water and is not intended to remove floating debris by centrifugal filtration.

Pro Tip

This is best positioned as a pre-filter, not a standalone pool filter. Install it before the main cartridge, sand, or DE filter to help reduce the dirt load on the primary filtration system.
