The aboveground diaphragm is a replacement part made by Zodiac. It is made from the same high-grade rubber and plastic material as the original factory part. Making this a genuine OEM product.

This part is designed to be the engine assembly of the Wahoo and is built to provide maximum durability and silent operation as your cleaner sucks and pulls dirt and debris off your pool's surface.

This diaphragm is shaped like a tube or a pipe and is Tan in color, but is made from a high-grade rubber produced by the Zodiac that is meant to move and expand to the pressure of the water. This would normally cause a plastic piece to explode or break, which would then cause damage to the cleaner thus making it inoperable.
