The oscillator seal kit (which includes 2 seals) is a replacement part that was made by Pentair. The same high-quality materials were used to manufacture the original factory part. Making this a genuine OEM product.

The oscillator is a very special and important piece to these suction cleaners as are the seals that are needed to help improve its operating capabilities. The purpose of the oscillator is to move back and forth at a high rate of speed so about 500 oscillations per minute and the amount of vibration created by this fast movement moves the bristles which help clean the surface. The seals help with the flow restriction which helps the oscillator oscillate, however, they do not need to be touching the outer housing in order to accomplish this task.

There are two oscillator seals that are sold separately from the oscillator assembly (they are included with the oscillator assembly) if ever lost or damaged, these parts are white and rest in the outside slots of the oscillator. Great troubleshooting tip if the cleaner is climbing the walls and out past the waterline, could be because the oscillator is moving too fast. You can correct this by adjusting the speed of flow from the regulator that sits in the skimmer. The Dorado Cannot be bought online as it is a trade-grade product that can only be bought at a local pool supply store. We Do Not sell this cleaner on our website however; we do sell the parts.
