Pentair Kreepy Krauly Legend / Platinum Float - Feed Hose - Grey (LLD10PM)

The float (feed hose) is a replacement part that was made by Pentair. The same high-quality materials are used to manufacture the original factory part. Making this a genuine OEM product.

The hose float was built for the hose kit that takes the water from the dedicated return line, which is powered by a booster pump and disperses the water into the cleaner giving it the power to suck and pull dirt and debris off the surface of your pool. Without this float, the hose would fall to the depths of your pool. Weighing your cleaner down would cause impediments throughout the surface that the cleaner would have to travel over making the cleaning process ineffective.

This float is grey and is strategically placed throughout the length of the hose’s assembly to keep it above the water and from being tangled up which would disrupt the cleaner. A great troubleshooting tip if the hose continues to get tangled is to first check the back-up valve and whether it is operating correctly. If that is not the issue then it may be due to the placement of the hose float, you can fix this by moving the float directly behind the backup valve which should resolve the issue and allow the hose to be tangle-free.
