No. This is a manually guided, rechargeable spot-cleaning vacuum for pools and spas. It works independently of a pool-cleaner hose or pool-system connection.

The owner’s manual specifies shallow mode for water deeper than 8 inches (20 cm), and deep mode for water deeper than 20 inches (50 cm). Select the appropriate mode and follow the manual’s operating instructions.

The manufacturer’s contents diagram shows the vacuum with cleaning head and filter canister, extension pole, charger, wall-mounted storage hook, filter components and two filter sleeves. Replacement charger R1113500 and two-filter pack R1113000 are separately listed service parts.

Polaris advertises up to 45 minutes of cordless runtime and charging in up to 2.5 hours. The 6-foot extendable handle and rotating head help guide the vacuum around steps and ledges.

Charge indoors at least 11 feet (3.5 m) from the pool edge. Drain the vacuum/canister and dry the charging port first. Use a GFCI/RCD outlet without an extension cord, as directed in the manual.

Empty and clean the canister after use. The manual distinguishes its coarse filter screen from fine-debris sleeves; fine debris can clog sleeves and require more frequent cleaning. Follow the illustrated filter-care instructions.
