The feed hose is a replacement part made by Polaris. They use the same high-grade rubber materials used for the original factory part. Making this a trusted OEM product.

The leader hose is the second link in a chain of hoses that provide the cleaner with pressurized water that powers the entire cleaner and the cleaning process. This water comes from the filtration system via the booster pump and out of the universal wall fitting and In-line filter. From there it passes through the feed hose and swivel assembly, then finally to this hose to be pushed even further into the cleaner. This makes it capable of sucking and pulling up dirt, debris, and other forms of mulch off your pool's surface.

The hose itself is white and made from a strong rubber compound that can be cut to adjust to the length needed to reach across your pool. This also allows it to expand while the high-pressure water makes its' way through and into the cleaner. If this part was made from any other material the potential for failure or damage would be at severely high risk. It can be found on the bottom end of the swivel assembly.
