One TC3 return-jet fitting in Light Gray. The manufacturer installation drawing shows the protective construction cap and restrictor-nozzle arrangement; the installation tools and return plumbing are separate.

For the matched ThreadCare pool/spa wall-return installation. The manufacturer describes a flush-mount fitting with an adjustable eyeball, 360-degree directional adjustment and three nozzle sizes. The 2026 ordering table lists 1½-inch and 1-inch return inlets; the installation sheet illustrates a 1½-inch return pipe. Verify the actual pipe and nozzle configuration before installation.

A qualified installer must follow TL-1317 D: after the illustrated 1½-inch return line is plumbed and pressure-tested, cut it flush with the wall, then use 5-17-4 to cut the pipe back 5/8 inch behind the shell surface. Prime and glue the fitting with the cap attached, allowing for the finish thickness. After finishing, remove the cap by turning clockwise with needle-nose pliers or 4-17-4 until it separates. At startup, select the applicable restrictor nozzle. The 5/8-inch setback is an installation measurement, not the product’s body depth.

Jandy’s separate In-Floor limited warranty states one year for manufacturing defects and 90 days for purchased replacement parts, subject to its certified-design, qualified-installation, original-purchaser/site and other terms.
