For the matching Jandy/Caretaker concrete-pool bayonet cleaning-head installation with a 2-inch nominal collar. This is not a VinylCare liner floor fitting or a pre-1992 threaded-head collar. Separately listed matching head-only options are 3-9-503 and High Flow 4-9-536. Select the correct head and nozzle from the approved cleaning-system design.

The manufacturer manual specifies 2-inch Class 200 or 2½-inch Schedule 40 stub-up risers and requires a reamer if a 2-inch Schedule 40 stub-up is used. Have the installer verify the actual pipe and collar, solvent-cement procedure and finished-floor alignment; nominal collar size is not the head’s measured outside diameter.

Use a qualified pool professional and the exact manufacturer collar installation procedure. Verify pipe type, surface preparation, finished-floor alignment and the matching head before installing the collar. Shut down the system and relieve pressure before service.

The separately listed 3-17-7 metal tool and 3-17-8 plastic tool must be matched to the actual head. These tools are not included with this item. The release direction depends on bayonet versus pre-1992 threaded connection.

Jandy’s separate In-Floor warranty provides one year for manufacturing defects and90 days for purchased replacement parts.
